Over my face i have alittle acne probably about 10 pimples. Some are red and i have some pores and blackheads. What is the best product that is not complicated and will work some what fast. I have been using Clearasil acne face wash and its just one bottle and it makes my face dry and it seems to be getting worse. SO i dont want products such as proactive that has 5 steps but what are some that you know works, is fast, and not complicating?

Hey, I’m sixteen. I get a few breakouts from time to time on my chest back and face. What are the best products that you guys use to control acne, and what are your skin routines?

I get acne on my forehead and on my temples and on my nose and between my eyebrows when i pluck them. But i use some reallly good stuff.
I use “Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer” and if you have oily skin don’t worry it won’t make it any oiler because its oil-freee and it treats &helps prevent pimplesa and moisturizes dry skin.
I also use Clearasils “Overnight Serum” And it helps visibly reduce the redness and size of pimples over night.
My rountines is when I wake up I wash my face then pat it dry then use the dual action moisturizer. Then if I have time a few hours before bed I will apply it again (but it doesn’t matter you only have to use it once) Then right before I go to bed I use the Serum and the serum especially works so well. I say MAJOR results its about a week or maybe two.

I use Acne Free on a daily basis for a face wash treatment. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t get rid of my acne scars, though. I looked up some easy home remedies to get rid of acne scars (the one I’d like to try is a baking soda + water mixture). Can I use both Acne Free and the baking soda mixture on a daily basis? Or will that be too much for my skin to handle?

I’d say its fine, if yout face isn’t really sensitive. If all fails do one in the morning, one at night.

My acne got really bad in high school. Nothing seemed to work for me. What seemed to work the best was me growing out of it and my hormones slowing down… sorry

Pur minerals is really good. Just make sure to use a good concealer underneath . It’s a bit pricey at 35 bucks though

I used to have flawless skin almost always, now i get horrible dark red breakouts. I also keep getting marks from previous acne. I wash my face every night and use a spot treatment. I also wash my face every morning and use a salicylic acid moisterizer before i put on makeup because i have dry skin. Its not working. What should i do?

The best acne products would be the ones you get from the doctor by prescription. If that’s not an option, try Proactive.

So i am a 16 year old male and i had been suffering with cystic acne ALL OVER my cheeks and chin. My acne is almost 100% gone:)) But i am left with a lot of dark spots on my cheeks. I am currently using Retin-A .025% before bed at night and clean and clear 10% benzoyl peroxide in the morning. Also i take to antibiotic pills a day to help fight breakouts. What can i do to diminish these dark spots?

i dont know if this will fix acne but i know it keeps me clean for the most part… the neutrogena face wash {i like the pink one} i think its pink grapefruit} if you have sensitive skin i wouldnt suggest using anything scented {just incase} but i put this wash to the test today by not washing my face this morning and last night and it really does keep my skin oil free. but since i didnt wash my face alot of my face makeup was gone by the time school was over because i got oily :/ but now i know it truely works and i tell everyone how great it really is!

I am 30 and have been having bad acne breakouts since my mid 20s. I have tried EVERYTHING, so I am just curious if there is something out that I haven’t heard of yet that really works. Or if there is certain kinds of products that work good or if a certain daily routine works good for you. Just to clarify, I have tried proactiv, lots of drugstore products and even some “all natural” home remedies like sea salt and honey.

OXY brand, i put there night creme on and when i wake up everything is gone!
there cleasing pads work as great makeup removers, and that can be a cause of acne.
i have NEVER had acne, and always used OXY(: you can get it at CVS, Krogers, Walmart…etc.
